Trier Christmas Market: Holiday Magic in Germany’s Oldest City

Hi friends,

When I think about Christmas in Germany, the Trierer Weihnachtsmarkt instantly comes to mind. Set in the city’s historic Hauptmarkt with the Cathedral of St. Peter as its backdrop, the Trier Christmas Market felt like stepping into a holiday storybook.

Exploring Trier

We warmed up with glühwein in a festive mug, shared crispy Reibekuchen, and wandered stalls full of handmade ornaments, chocolates, and gifts. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, the kind of place where holiday spirit lingers long after you leave.

It may not be the biggest market in Germany, but it’s one of the most magical I’ve experienced.

Wishing you upcoming cozy days,
